Week 1 Day 4
I did better than expected on yoga today. By no means was it a breeze, but it was easier than when I was checking it out last week. I was able to do the whole workout without pausing the video. Ok, I paused it a few times to wipe my hands off, kept slipping on my mat, and to rewind it a few times to watch how they did the exercise.
I did have a few problem areas. One exercise or stationary pose, called the Crane. There was no way I can do it. Don't know if that is too much weight on my arms or what. Need to find a way to work on that one.
Also, the yoga ab 7, KICKED my butt! One major problem is I can not keep my leg straight. It keeps bending and drooping.
Had some issues with balance as well. I know that will come with time. No worries there, but I feel like a wobbling baby learning to walk.
I have a small ache in my right knee, not from P90X. That made a few stretches a little tough for me. I think I like yoga because it really seems to help with my lower back. In the beginning I am sweating like a June bride sitting naked on a deep bellied stove.
Oh yeah! I had to stop the under the leg, behind the back grab. I had a muscle cramp in my shoulder. I was worried for a few moments. Worried I would not be able to finish, but I did. Can't wait for next week for yoga again!
