A Day Late...

Well, not a full day. Like I said earlier, this week I am just going to do half the sets that they do in the video. I did one set and was feeling it! Not surprised. I am a little sore today. Mostly in my pectoral muscles.

Starting to eat the food portions that will be required of me come Monday the 24th, when I really start. I figured I am supposed to have:
9 - 3 ounce portions of protein
4 - dairy
2 - fruits
4 - vegetables
1 - carbs
4 - snacks

YES! I get to eat more again! The one great thing about working out, increased food! As long as it is in proper form. I had cheese slice and 6 pieces of lean turkey for breakfast. A lot more filling than a bowl of cereal! (Maybe it tasted so good because it was a change from the normal?)

Today's exercises are called "Plyometrics". Don't know what they are, but I think they are going to whip my sorry body!

BEER TALK
I have a 1 liter starter going with White Labs 830 lager yeast. After I get home from work, I will check to see that it is done fermenting the starter. If it is, I then have to step it up to a 1 gallon starter. I plan on making a Munich Helles. I have a recipe from Jamil Zainasheff. Never had a Helles before. I hear they are really "TASTY"! I will report back when it is done. It will be a while. This beer has to ferement for a month because it is a lager and it will be at a cooler temperature, around 50* F.
